Some people only walk this earth a short time. Their departure reminds us angels are watching over us. Ann F. (Schorpp) Brennan, 80, passed away peacefully at home, Sunday, March 6, 2022. Ann was born in Schenectady to the late William and Frances Gallagher Schorpp. Ann worked at several area retail stores, retiring from Marshalls in Clifton Park. While her daughters were growing- up she supported all of their endeavors. Enjoyed being outdoors, a big fan of Boston Red Sox but tolerated watching the NY Mets with her husband. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, William M. Brennan, proud mother of three daughters, Kelly (John) Kilian of Schenectady, Kathleen (Joseph) Palumbo of Ballston Spa and Karen Ruzza of Schenectady, two siblings, Kathleen (Norman) Johnson of Kentucky and Kenneth (Judy) Schorpp of Kentucky, one sister-in-law, Rosemary Osborne of Schenectady, seven grandchildren who were her world, Kathryn (Chris Gaidusek), Andrew and Phillip Kilian, Michael Palumbo, William Ruzza, Monica Westfall (Bill) and Rachael Ruzza, several nieces, nephews and many friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service which will be conducted Saturday, March 12 at 10 a.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
