nna G. Cuozzo, 94, passed peacefully at home on Easter Day, Sunday, April 17, 2022.She was the devoted wife of the late Michael P. Cuozzo for 62 years. Anna was born August 27, 1927 in Troy, New York to the late Nicola and Theresa (Campagna) Cioffi.As a young adult, she was employed as a seamstress for Tiny Town Togs, in Troy, but once married she became a full-time Mom. Ann was of the “Greatest Generation.” Like so many others of her time, the lean years of the Great Depression and wars impressed upon her the importance of a modest life, with enjoyment of helping others. She was especially known for welcoming you to her kitchen table to enjoy one of her many Italian specialties, especially her fried meatballs on Sunday mornings. Ann was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Troy.Ann is survived by her two daughters, Louisa Merola (Anthony) of Troy and Michelle Borisenok (Walter) of Saratoga Springs. Grandchildren Annalisa Cesare (Tony), Michael Borisenok (Emily)and Nicole Krasodomski (Michael). Great Grandchildren Joanna VanRoyen, Angelina VanRoyen, Anthony & Nicholas Cesare, Miles & Beau Borisenok. Survivors also include sister Antoinette Macri of Albany and stepbrother Joseph Cioffi, as well as several nieces and nephews. Ann was predeceased by her husband, Michael P. Cuozzo and their daughter, Joanne Tedesco (John) and granddaughter, Christi Merola VanRoyen (Drew).The family is deeply appreciative of the care provided by The Community Hospice, especially the nursing care of Marcia, and Steve, Natalie, Sonja and Mary Kay. St. Peter’s Home Based Primary Care, in care of Rhonda Esposito. The Visiting Nurses Home Care Albany team, Julie, Ed, Deidre, Gina, Melvina, Denise & Anneleise. Thankful for the wonderful guidance from Laura & Tanya of Care Manage For All, and Maria & Gretchen of LifePath Senior Services. Special thank you to Marjorie Morrison, Grace, Jovanda, and a host of other extraordinary caregivers.The family is especially grateful for the extraordinary care received by her friend and companion, Tanya, so that she was able to complete her life’s journey comfortably in her home.Memorial contributions can be made to: To Life!
