Elsie I. Trimarchi Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Elsie M. Trimarchi, 92, the wife of the late Joseph A. Trimarchi, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Teresian House surrounded by her cherished family. Born on December 6, 1929, in Albany, she was born to the late Dominick Indelicato and Angela Pagano, and was also the beloved daughter of Dominica Indelicato. Elsie was a graduate of St. John's Academy, Albany and was retired from New York State Office of General Services. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker and loved taking care of her family. Throughout her life, she found great joy in spending time with her loved ones, camping, traveling, and gardening. For many years, Elsie loved and would look forward to cooking Sunday dinner of macaroni and meatballs for her children and grandchildren. Her homemade chicken soup was a family favorite. Elsie was the loving mother to eight children, Anthony (Avalon) who predeceased her, and Angela (Donald Sislowski) Groelz, Joseph (Susan), Vincent, Dennis (Barbara), Mary (Michael) Donahue, Dominick (Patti), and Carmen (Colleen) who survive her. She is also survived by her darling sister, Pauline Fleszar; 26 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Salvatore Indelicato, and Anthony Cannone; and sisters, Josie Goodall and Lena Padula. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Teresian House, especially the caregivers on the fifth floor for all of their compassion and care. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, July 1, from 4 - 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd, Watervliet. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, July 2, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Rd., Latham. Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, 48 Cemetery Ave., Menands.
