James W. Dayter Sr., 86, joyfully entered into the warm embrace of our loving Savior on February 6, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Big Jim lived a blessed life and was so grateful for the love he received from his dear wife and partner in Christ, Alice P. Dayter who predeceased him on September 22, 2020. Dad, go to the light and send Alice our love. We'll see you in due time. Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, on Thursday, February 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Eulogy will be given at the funeral home at 12 p.m. Interment will immediately follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
