    Jane T. Casillo

    November 19, 1958 - May 1, 2022

    Jane T. Casillo, 63, passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on May 1, 2022. Born in Schenectady, NY to her parents Bernard and Lucy (Urbanski) Kozilsky. A high school graduate of Mohonasen High School, she continued her education at Hudson Valley Community College. She married her loving husband, Terry Casillo, on May 23, 1981 at St. Gabriel's Church in Schenectady. Jane and Terry enjoyed hobbies, travels, and spending time together. They raised their daughter, Michelle Casillo in the Niskayuna School District. Her family was the most important part of her life. She was a proud mother to Michelle Casillo. For 36 years, Jane worked as a Tax Technician for New York State. In her spare time, Jane loved to exercise and spending time with her family. Jane will forever be remembered for her sweet, gentle disposition, beautiful smile, love for animals, her dogs Casper and Koa. To continue Jane's memory is her husband of 41 years, Terry Casillo; loving daughter, Michelle Casillo; sisters Cathy Kozilsky and Maryanne Moore; mother and father-in-law Anna and Tony Casillo, sister and brother-in-law Anna and Leonard Gelman, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents and her beloved brother, Bernard J. Kozilsky. Calling hours will be held on May 9, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Road Glenville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 10, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Church, 3040 Hamburg Street, Schenectady. Entombment will follow services at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
