    Jane R. Welsh

    September 2, 1930 - March 27, 2022

    Jane R. Welsh, 91 of East Greenbush, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Welsh; and her siblings, Ann Rivenburg, John White, Thomas White, Ellen (May) Aliberti, and Florence Paloski. Jane ran the computer room at N.Y. Telephone for over 32 years before retiring, and was a proud member of the telephone Pioneers Retirement organization. Jane was a loving woman who ended all her conversations with "Touching Hearts." Survivors include her daughters, Marsha (Howard) Horn, Barbara Lischak, and Jeanne (Joseph) Beyor; and son, James (Catherine) Welsh Jr. Jane was the proud Nan of her 10 grandchildren 17 great-grandchildren that love her a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck: Bryan, Eric, Brett, Gregory, Daniel, Jennifer, Jeremy, Christopher, Amy and Mark; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Emma, Dyllon, Kailee, Autumn, Aubrey, Eva, Mila, Matthew, Alexander, Oakley, Gregory, Henry, James, Elyse, Madison, and Bria. She is also survived by her extended family and close friends, Rich and Mary Jane Laporta, Helen Ditullio, and Frank and Helen Welsh as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc., 165 Columbia Tpke., Rensselaer immediately followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jane's name to a charity of the donor's choice.
