Joseph Spenziero

Joseph Frank Spenziero, 82 passed away on Sunday May 1, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. Born on January 24, 1940, in Albany, Joseph was the son of Dominic and Ruth. Joseph worked for Red Star in Glenmont, until he retired. Anyone who knew Joseph loved his outgoing and huge personality and knew he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, June A. Spenziero, and his siblings, Dominick, Gene and Margaret. He was the beloved father of Joseph Spenziero, Jr. (Lisa), Christine VanPatten (Frank) and Anthony Spenziero. Joseph is also survived by his sisters, Ruthie, Arlene and Darlene. Joseph had 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Joseph is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Joe's family on Tuesday, May 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany, NY 12206. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Please enter the funeral home from the rear parking lot entrance only.
