    Mary Pascarell Wood

    February 15, 1957 - March 15, 2022

    Mary Pascarell Wood, age 65, passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022. Mary was born in Troy and lived in Wynantskill with her beloved husband Tim and their dog, Bugsy. Mary loved her family and friends with all her heart. She would speak to her mother, Bridget, 91, several times every day because they had such a strong love and affection. She was proud to be the mother of her three children Bridget, 36 (Nick Glasser), Kateri, 31 (Adam Schwartz) and Victoria, 26 (Erick Valdez), and she cherished her grandchildren, Alexandria, Nicky, Theodora, and Evelyn. Mary loved spending time with her friends every Thursday night, laughing, dancing and singing. Mary was the kind of person who could make a friend wherever she went. She was happy to talk with anyone and everyone and was always willing to share herself with them. Mary loved with all her heart, and her husband Tim was everything to her. Together they went through life’s ups and downs always happy to be in it together.Mary was the beloved sister of Rose Pascarell, Ann Pascarell (Diane DiClementi), and Jim Pascarell (Jennifer Sheehan Pascarell). She was predeceased by her brother Robert, and her father Jim. Mary loved sitting outside on her porch, especially in the Spring and Summer watching the birds and other animals. She was an avid animal lover. She is now in the arms of Jesus and has reached eternal perfection with God. She is there with her beloved brother, father, Uncle Billy and Aunt Mary. The Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Shrine Church, 28 State St., Troy, NY 12180 followed by interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Troy.Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Morris-Stebbins-Miner & Sanvidge Funeral Home, 312 Hoosick St., Troy, NY 12180.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Right to Life Organization at https://www.nrlc.org/donate/ in memory of Mary Wood. https://www.lastingmemories.com/mary-pascarell-wood
