    Minnie M. Ciccone

    December 19, 1930 - April 2, 2022

    Minnie M. Ciccone, 91, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Brookdale Assisted Living, following a period of declining health. She was born in Schenectady on December 19, 1930 a daughter of the late Carmello and Raphael (Perrine) Schembri. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. A longtime resident of Albany, and in later years of Loudonville, Minnie worked for many years for Trustco Bank in East Greenbush until her retirement. She was an active parishioner for many years at Christ Our Light Church in Albany. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies’ Auxiliary. Minnie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed bowling and crafts. She was predeceased by her husband, Fabian; her sister, Florence DeLucia; her son in law, Ralph Battiste and 2 brother in laws, Kenneth Marenette and Ted DeLucia Minnie is survived by her daughter, Patricia Battiste; 2 grandchildren, Nicholas Battiste (Brian Alberts) and Jennifer (Jason) Vivian; 2 great grandchildren, Juliana and Jordyn Vivian; a sister, Frances Marenette and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Albany. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
