Nancy A. Haas

Nancy A. Haas, 86, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022. Born on May 11, 1935 daughter of the late Lawrence and Anna McGrath in the Bronx, NY. Nancy will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother. She then went on to cherish her role as a grandmother and great grandmother. Nancy loved spending time with her family and gardening. She and her husband took many trips together in their RV traveling the country. She was a longtime member of St. Kateri of Takawatha Church (formerly St. Helen's). She will be dearly missed. Nancy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Col. Lloyd E. Haas, Sr., her children, Michael T. Haas and Nancy E. Haas and her siblings, Richard, John, Lawrence, William and Helen McGrath. She is survived by her children, Lawrence Haas, Patti Ann Haas, Ann Marie Haas, Lloyd (Carol)Haas, Bryan Haas; sister, Dolores Mott and her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery where Nancy will be laid to rest beside her husband.
