    Patricia A. Mitchell

    July 1, 1940 - May 5, 2022

    Patricia A. (Immucci) Mitchell, 81, left this life and returned to her Heavenly Father on May 5, 2022. A long-time resident of Schenectady, NY, she passed away peacefully near her family in Phillipsburg, NJ. Pat is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert, her daughter, Regan (Vincenzo) Gallo, son, Ryan (Ashlee McNulty) Mitchell, beloved grandchildren Domenico (15), Gianni (12), Alessandra (8) and Grant (2), her sisters-in-law Marge Mitchell, Charmain Mitchell, Margaret Mitchell, Eileen (Lyle) Eldred and many treasured nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Eve (Arcomano) and Frank Immucci, originally of New Rochelle, NY, her sister, Jeanne (Immucci) Kennedy, her brother, Leonard Immucci, her mother-in-law, Ann (Keenan) Mitchell, father-in-law, John Mitchell, sister-in-law Patricia Trathen and brothers-in-law, John Mitchell, Gerald Mitchell, and William Mitchell. Pat graduated from New Rochelle High School and SUNY Oneonta and started her 33-year career as an elementary education teacher at South Colonie School District in 1962. Pat was a devoted member of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Schenectady, NY, where she served for many years as a religious education teacher, participated in the shawl ministry and volunteered countless hours of her time. Pat will be remembered for her love of hosting large family gatherings, spending time in Cape Cod, her generosity to countless causes and her devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren, the lights of her life. Funeral services will take place at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, 2216 Rosa Road, on Friday May 13, 2022, at 9 a.m. Interment at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery will follow.
