Rosemary A. Lozano
April 7, 1939 - March 24, 2022
Our beloved mother, Rosemary Constantine Lozano, passed away in her home on March 24, 2022. She was the first born child of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Macarilla, born in 1939, in Coeymans. She is survived by her adored sister and brother, Frances Riscavage (Joseph) and Frank Macarilla (Ceci). Rosemary grew up in the township with many wonderful extended relatives and friends. She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1957. After awaiting her true love's return from serving the U.S. Army in Germany, she married Dominick Constantine in 1961. They settled in Ravena and started their own family. Unfortunately, Rosemary was predeceased by the love of her life, Dom, at age 54. Years later she married Wally Lozano and was widowed again in 2010. Most recently her treasured daughter, Tina Marie Guidotti of San Diego, Calif., passed on March 15, 2022, unbeknownst to her mother. Rosemary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Heather Constantine of Selkirk. She received the greatest joy and was the biggest fan of her children and grandchildren, Joel (Jenna) Constantine, Jacob (Mackenzie) Constantine, Liana (Tony) Brandotti, Lindsay Guidotti, Olivia Guidotti; and great-granddaughters, Ava and Cali Constantine. "Gram" was the eighth wonder of the world. There was nothing she would not or could not do. She enjoyed anything and everything that she participated in. Rosemary delighted in entertaining her guests with her warm hugs, contagious smile, kind heart, delicious culinary treats and decorative skills. She was a master of many interests including sewing, needlework, artwork, decorating, floral design, gardening, and golfing. In her later years, she valued the time with her walking friends followed by a friendly cup of coffee. Rosemary's faith was her source of comfort and guidance. She was a devout parishioner of her life long parish, St. Patricks Church, where she shared her love and talents serving as a Eucharistic minister and decorator for decades. She was involved in the leadership of the Columbiettes, Womens Club and volunteer activities within her hometown. Our sincere appreciation for the St. Patricks Parish, Ravena Senior Center, Silver Spoon Diner and the Village of Ravena for lovingly caring for Rosemary within her own community. We are forever grateful to her many friends and caregivers who aided in maintaining Rosemary's independence. A Mass of celebration will be held at the Church of St. Patrick, 21 Main St., Ravena, on April 30, at 10 a.m. followed by a reception in honor of both Rosemary and Tina. We welcome all of our family, friends and caregivers to join us. For those unable to attend Mass, there will be a brief calling time from 9 to 9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patricks in Ravena, N.Y. or to the Senior Projects of Ravena Inc. at 9 Bruno Blvd., Ravena, NY 12143.
