    William H. Morgan

    April 11, 1941 - October 11, 2021

    -William Henry Francis Morgan, III, beloved husband of Regina McGrath Morgan, passed peacefully on October 11, 2021 with family at his side at Albany Medical Hospital. The oldest son of William H Morgan, Jr and Jean Marie Daley Morgan, he was born on April 11, 1941. Bill graduated from St Augustine’s and Catholic Central HS in Lansingburgh, NY , class of 1959. Bill, long time Troy NY businessman, was jewelry manager for Sim and Co. and then owner/manager of William Morgan Jewelers located at Broadway & Second (Canon Building) spanning a four decade history. Bill, an avid sports fan, had a deep love of the outdoors, ADK, a passion for foreign films, foreign cars ,classical literature and was well know for his quick Irish wit and his love for his family. Besides his wife, Regina, he is survived by his son William (Barbara) Morgan IV of Troy NY, daughters Claudia (George) Dib York SC, Rachel (Joseph) Robinson Mason OH, Erin Bayly Troy NY , Amelia ( Matthew )Mc Fadden Bronx NY, son Clancy Morgan Chicago, IL, daughter Rory Morgan Melrose NY., brother, Eugene (Carol) Morgan Dallas TX, sister Constance Morgan Guilderland NY, brother Lawrence Morgan Winchester NH, sister Mary Joan Morgan Laguna Niguel, CA, brothers Richard (Mary Ann ) Morgan Wyantskill NY and Robert (Mary) Morgan Newtonville NY and predeceased by brother Stephen Morgan. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty two nieces and nephews. A graveside burial service is planned for the spring. In lieu of flowers , donations can be sent to the Lansingburgh Boys and Girls Club, 501 Fourth Avenue, Troy, NY 12182.
