Mom was the loving matriarch of her extended family, loved all equally, and was adamant about treating everyone fairly. She loved her home and was happy to share it with family and friends whenever she could. Sitting around the table long after the dishes were cleared and catching up on all "the kids" was a favorite pastime. When family vacations to Maine, or Vermont or Disney were no longer possible, she enjoyed day trips to Lake George, and occasionally even going to Saratoga and betting on the ponies. Then it was her morning coffee, crossword puzzles, reading, and Masterpiece Theater. Even though she was slowed down by a recent hip replacement, she was as active as she could be and was looking forward to getting out for lunch and dinner with family and friends. A life well lived, she will truly be missed.
