I just wanted to let you know that the [Community] Memorial Service for persons who died in 2022 really meant a lot to our family. We lost our 27 year old son suddenly. We were lost, confused and grieving over this tremendous loss. When the invitation came it was difficult for us at first to think about attending anything when we just wanted to be shut off from the world and try to deal with our loss as a family. The service was just lovely and greatly appreciated. [Our son] is buried at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery and we are thankful to all of the staff who continue to maintain the gravesites and watch over our loved ones final resting place. My family is so happy that we chose Kateri Meadow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery for our mother’s final resting place. Tina and the entire staff made sure that our mother’s natural burial was perfect. They demonstrated their commitment to helping grieving families in many ways. As family members have passed, I would have them cremated and keep their ashes here in my guest room. I'm the last surviving family member so this was not a good long-term plan. It was time to get them out of my guest room. My grandparents bought a plot at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie in the 1920's. I called to find out where it was located and to get details on how much space, if any was available. I connected with Lisa Tedesco, Family Service Representative, Albany Diocesan Cemeteries. I can't recommend Lisa enough. She is caring, friendly, helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable. She helped me with burial arrangements and headstone engraving for all five family members. I am comforted to know that everyone is together again. The cemetery grounds are well cared for and easy to visit. Thank you Lisa!

We brought mom home to be reunited with my dad. We were able to celebrate both of their lives with a small grave side service. We were able to fulfill her final wishes respectfully and with dignity. I was at the painting class this past Fri. at The Living Room Art Gallery in St. Agnes Cemetery and I had the BEST time ever! It was the first time I tried to paint anything and to say I was apprehensive is putting it mildly but that ended as soon as the class started. Noreen did a fabulous job instructing the entire class and truly, it was just wonderful. She really has a great teaching presence and is so inclusive of everyone in the room no matter what their skill level is.

Compliments to your grounds crew who keeps the cemetery looking better than any other cemetery around. Plus, last February we had a burial in the winter when some cemeteries don’t even allow burials and your grounds crew were wonderful… they worked hard like it wasn’t even a factor.
