    Constance A. Nedvidek

    March 14, 1927 - February 17, 2022

    Constance A. Nedvidek, 94, of Rotterdam, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Constance was born in Schenectady and graduated from Nott Terrace High School. She worked for many years as a sales clerk at several area stores including Boston Store at Mohawk Mall and Kay’s Drug Store on Union St. Most of her working career was and spent at Sears in Rotterdam Square Mall. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of The Assumption Church, now Our Lady Queen of Peace. Constance was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rudolf L. Nedvidek, who died in 2019, her parents, Ralph and Adele Giaque Giaquinto and her two brothers, Patrick Giaquinto and Edward Giaquinto. She is survived by her son, Rudolph “Rudy” Nedvidek, three grandchildren, Andrew Nedvidek, Peter Nedvidek and Alicia (Josh) Ray and her great granddaughter, Olivia Ray. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, 10 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd. Burial will follow at St’s Cyril & Method Cemetery.
