Louis Joseph Leo, 90, of St. Andrew's Drive in Clifton Park died on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, after a short illness, just two days before his 66th wedding anniversary. Born in College Point, N.Y. on October 8, 1931, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Emilia Leo. He was a graduate of Flushing High School. Louis worked for Price Chopper as vice president of deli, bakery and seafood operations. He owned his own deli in College Point. He enjoyed fishing and going on trips with his family. Louis was a master sergeant during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; daughter, Emilia (Gary) Driscoll; and son, Michael Leo; also survived by his grandchildren, Christina (Dennis) Ballard, Elizabeth Leo, Angelina (Miguel) Perez and Marissa Driscoll; great-grandchildren, Luna Ballard and Gary Perez; daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Leo. He was predeceased by his son, Pat Leo. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church in Ushers where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT.9 Clifton Park, NY 12065. Interment with full military honors will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford.
