Neil L. Turck entered into eternal peace on March 15, 2022. Neil was born on February 13, 1961. He attended Mont Pleasant High School and graduated from Cortland University in 1984. Neil spent his career in service to others, first as a recreational therapist at St. Anne's Institute for Girls in Albany NY and later as an Activities Coordinator at Conifer Park in East Glenville, NY, where he made many friends. Neil was predeceased by his parents Shirley A. (Donnellan) and Daniel A. Turck, his brothers Jeffrey and Brian as well as his Uncle Lawrence. Neil is survived by his siblings Daniel, Lynn (David), Cathy, Michael and Susan (D) along with several nieces and nephews. He was also survived by his lifelong friend Tony Defelice and his good friends Kim DePeaux and Karen Keane. Neil was an avid hunter who loved golfing and spending time at the family camp. The Chargers were his favorite football team and he once traveled to San Diego to see his team play. He was thrilled to eat at Junior Seau's restaurant. Everyone knew Neil was the man, when it came time for football squares. Neil was known for his endearing and timeless personality. In the early years he was known as "peach fuzz" for the summer haircuts his father would give him on the kitchen chair with clippers. Later this nickname was shortened to Fuzz and commonly used among his siblings. His Irish wit and comedic charm made him an amazing storyteller. He knew how to make memories stick so those stories would never be forgotten. Calling hours for Neil will take place at Gleason Funeral Home, on Wednesday March 23, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. A prayer service will begin at 1:00 pm with interment immediately following at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery on Troy- Schenectady Road in Niskayuna, NY.
